Hello CL, New member here. I dont own a Lexus yet, but i'm in the market and looking to purchase an is350 soon.

I looking at a cpo 07 Is350 with 35k, asking price is 27,500. I'm not sure what package it is, but i know it has nav. They're not trying budge on the price, does this sound about right or should try to take them lower?

Thanks.

Post some pics so people can tell you what package it has. Check Kelly Blue Book and other local Lexus' to compare.

The dealerships will always sell for less than advertised. Its apart of the game.

Nope.

From the pics it's a base model with Nav, Premium (woodgrain and the heated/vented seats), and 18" wheels.

It might have HIDs as a standalone option, easiest way is to try the <o> switch and see if there's an AFS on/off option, if so it's HIDs

theres always room to budge on the price, just give them your set offer and if they refuse it just walk away, cuz if your counter offer is reasonable they will most likely call you back

That's a pretty good deal already. I got my IS350 3 weeks ago, 40K miles, configured in pretty much the same options with also chrome wheels and a deck spoiler, and I got $29,700+tax (list was $35k).

Then again, there's a high demand for certain cars in SoCal; they marked up the new GTIs by $3k.

Try negioating with a question to the dealer. " have all the recalls been performed on the car? Gas pedal shortening, valve springs, ECM software mod to eliminate possible sudden acceleration, latest master cylinder seal replacement?" Maybe setting the stage that the vehicle may be in bad shape might get them to lower the price. Ask if they will take it to Lexus to have this done and give you a loaner car while Lexus makes the recall repairs.
Good luck. If you see a 2006 IS350 Pearl White in the beltway... wave

Hey thanks for the tips, i'm going to ask all the quetions you mentioned, hopefully it'll soften them up.

I'll definately be waving if i see a pearl white IS350, if you see me waving just stick your head out the sunroof to confirm that was you and i'm not just waving at any random IS350.

Seems a little high to me. I picked up an 07 350 back in August with the following options and paid 24k:
45k miles
premium package
HID's
Mark Lev
Nav
G-Spyder wheels
F sport exhaust (installed at dealer)

Price is regional to a point so I would check other sales locally and see what they are going for. It wasn't CPO but I was able to pick up the Lexus extended warranty for an additional $1500 so 25.5K

^Sounds like you got a killer deal. Maybe i should go that route. Can i buy the extended warranty on any car?

Just got done talking to the salesman and their only trying to knock off $300, I asked for another $700 off, but it dosn't seem like their trying to hear it. Time to look at a different one.

As long as it's still within the 4 yr/50k original factory warranty period you can.

There's at least 3 guys who sell em pretty cheaply, Toby Rivers, Troy Dietrich, and Jerry Johnson... do a search and you'll find their contact infos... Personally I found the best price from Jerry but all 3 were massively lower than any of the local dealerships.
