Default NEW IDEA (but i need input)

hey so ive seen many white cars that are like blacked out with black emblems and black rims and stuff, but what would it look like if you had a black car with white emblems and a white grill and white rims? I have a black IS 250 and i just wana do something different. Im thinking of painting my emblems white, grill white, and my window trim white. Also my tails r painted black but the reverse light is let white so if i do this i might swap for ISF tails and left the white blinker and reverse light not painted. Also i want black rims with a white painted lip but i have NO idea how that would look..

What do you guys think?

Take a photo of your car then photoshop it with everything you want white. I did a similar thing with my calibers. Then you can get an idea before you pull the trigger.

its a good thing you asked for opinions first before you did it ... IMHO painting all that parts white will make it look unbelievably cheap and degrades the car... White lip rims, sure but first do a nice drop to compliment them .... Just my opinion though...

Somewhat panda themed moreso than tron'd out if I'm imagining correctly. It'll look pretty interesting, do it!!

interesting~... as a white car owner i would never ever do the black out thingys on my car~ as someone said, the white thing will cheepen the car~ same as i feel as white car guys doing the black thing~ *i am talking about plastidip, not the real deals paint jobs~*

BUT~

if you're gonna take your car to 'show' and want the 'look at me' factor, then do it

I dont know how I feel about painting your details white. I kind of agree that it might your car look cheap. But hey to each his own if you really feel like.

ya im beginning to think it might make it look cheap but i do want the like "look at me" aspect because i just want my car to look different and i really like the black rims with a white lip.. if i do the rims those i feel like i need to compliment it with other things that are white.

Also my friend has a white mercedes c350 with black rims, emblems, grill, lights, roof, etc and it looks sick i think.. i mean i havent seen anyone do black with white detail i just need to research more

I think you should do what you feel is what you want to do.

I would think that you would modify your car to please you, not everyone else, right? YOU are the one that would be looking at it everyday. Not to discredit everyone's opinions because I myself respect them, it's just that in the end, it's the car you are driving, the car you go to every day. The car that you would have to say "Oh I wish I should have done what I wanted." if you didn't do it. That way there would be no "what ifs". If you don't like it, those little things are easy to change back.

I do like the idea of the black rims with the white lip. I think it'll look cool and I don't think you really need to compliment it with other white accents to complete the look. Just my two cents
