Does notice the material (I think it's the felt), inside the center console (where you put the extra cup, or put CDs in etc), does the material start fuzzing or flaking?

I noticed something when I buch of CDs in (no covers) and when I took them out, all the cds have some hair fuzz like material and it was from the console.

Is this a defect in the material? Seems like to me it is falling apart or something.

Maybe it's the friction of the hard CD's rubbing it off.

Had the dealer check it out, it's fine. It's just the material catching on but nothing of concern.
