Default Can someone help me with the price!

I had posted on the ES forum but no one give me some number yet. I'm checking this car for my brother.
It's CPO 2008 ES350 Nav,Prem,Hid 16,800 miles MSRP 30,900

IS 28k or 28,5 possible??? Thanks everyone! Please give me some idea to talk to the dealership!

I would start low and then you can go up. Asking price for my 350 was 28K i got it for 24k.

You're dreaming at 28k. Expect close to 20-23k. ES's don't hold value because there's so many of them. New ones go for 32ish. People in the market for a lexus can usually afford new. buying a two year old one for a discount of only 4,000? ya right dude. GLWS

bus, I think you're looking at it backwards. I think he's trying to buy it?

If that's the case, you can go way lower than $28k like he said....

couldn't really tell. Either way, an '08 ES is not at all worth 28K. 24k is the absolute highest I would go for a 100% perfect example.

In DFW TX, cpo 2008 IS250 with prem pkg were going for 28k in oct 2010 with a take it or leave it stance from the dealer.
So that makes it about 4k discount for a 2 yr old lexus.

I always do 2 or 3 K below KBB value and consider it a bargain.

I stand corrected, ES's go for 36 new. I can buy an '08 in Canada for 28k. And living here is expensive as hell. I used to live in Houston and if it's cheaper in Canada, you're paying too much in the US.

Another Pricing Question.

Looking at a 2010 CPO IS250 AWD - Nothing much else ie No NAV, HID's or anything like that with 18800 miles on the clock.

What would be a fair offer ?

Also - the fact that the rear seat do not fold down - has anyone really found this to be a problem ?

Iti also depends on what the dealership bought the car for. There obviously not gonna take a loss on it unless it has been there for a Loooooong time maybe.
