^ Check the "pic of your car - RIGHT NOW!" thread. You can find over a dozen pics of his trunk there.

Am I the only one who debaged and left the 2 tiny holes there since i really don't care about them? haha

the holes have been open for about a year now, not garaged nothing. And we had a crazy rain/storm chain here in socal lately. I havn't seen any damage yet.... no water gets inside the trunk.

Rust has a funny way of just showing up sometimes, is there a possibility that your trunk is rusting internally?

So I was thinking about debadging my ride too, but all IS have the pins behind the letters? I don't wanna do this if this is the case... I thought maybe they were on with sticky adhesive ... confirm?

let it dry and the remove the tape.

Then lightly sand the bondo filled holes so its flat with the rest of the trunk paint.

Apply touchup & clear.

Sand flat and polish.

I did it to my trunk and you can barely tell unless you look for it.
i would do this if i were you OP

A body shop will charge you at least $200+ to fill the holes. I went to an auto store and buy some bondo which is less than $10. Then applied it with a toothpick and used some touch up paint (I got mine from my lexus dealer for $8).

I also left left the holes there. People seem not to notice anyways... And It is almost too small for water to enter. I even checked for water after a storm and found nothing.
