Angry de-badge '11 IS 250 AWD

I need some advice ladies & germs...

I just de-badged my '11 IS 250 AWD in my parents garage. I was surprised to see that both the "S" and the "5" had a plastic peg in addition to the adhesive.
The back end now looks great but I'm left with two little holes where these pegs once fit. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little upset with these tiny eye soars but I'm more worried about water getting in between my trunk and the interior lining and causing damage.

PLEASE ADVISE

go to discount and get some 3M tape and put your emblems back on...or go to a bodyshop and have them plugged

You probably should have asked if there were holes first. Your only options now are 1. Put emblem back on 2. tape them up (ugly) or 3. have a body shop fill and repaint your new trunk! (expensive). Good luck!

Wait, does every single IS ever produced have pin guides for the lower rear emblems ("LEXUS" and "IS X50")? Because debadging is actually on my list of to-dos. I thought nowadays manufacturers just use robots to apply little pieces like these so pins are no longer needed.

Ahhhhaaaaa. Japanese Karma is what is called.
That happen to my friend who owns a IS-F he took the fender F logos out and he had not only one hole, both had 2 holes in different places each.
No go to Ebay and Buy a black pearl emblem kit and get it back on with some good taste.

That's also a good alternative. Or you can buy a regular chrome kit and spray paint them matte black. Or just reuse your current emblems, but theres no adhesive on those. Good thing is you have a pretty broad selection of options if you choose to re-emblem your car. If you want to keep them off, then you have no choice but to fill in the holes at a body shop.

just take apart your trunk...

Take off the trunk garnish where the license plate sits and put tape flat on the painted sides covering the holes.

Put bondo body filler on the back side so its filled an pushed hard onto the tape.
let it dry and the remove the tape.

Then lightly sand the bondo filled holes so its flat with the rest of the trunk paint.

Apply touchup & clear.

Sand flat and polish.

I did it to my trunk and you can barely tell unless you look for it.

if your car is black or obsidian, you could put a TINY little piece of electric tape over the hole then use touch up paint to cover it..

Did it on my friends car. Sounds ghetto but you truly cant tell...
