Default Navi Screen Warm Up?

In the cold weather, I've noticed when I turn on my car, the navigation screen is dim and takes a second to warm up. Does anyone else experience this on their vehicle? I don't remember it ever doing that in the summer or in warm weather...

I noticed that the other day too, it hasn't done it since then so I just chalked it up to my eyes playing tricks on me since I hadn't had any coffee yet.

Yea, mine does that too when it is cold out. Were hitting single digits around here. I don't think it should be a problem though.

Yes, mine seems a bit dimmer than usual in sub 20 degree temperatures.

Mine has always done this when we are in the single digits or below in Indiana. I think that is normal for this type of display in low temps.

The LCD responsiveness would be a bit slow until the crystals have gotten up to temp. Not really noticeable unless one pays attention to it.
