Default Maximum angle for steep driveway

I'm considering buying a used '07ish is250 or is350, but I remember that my driveway is fairly steep, and I'm worried it might grind the front bumper/bottom of the car.

Anyone have any experience as to how steep the lexus is250/350 of a driveway it can take? Assuming stock height.

That's not an easy question to answer because there are so many factors at play. One thing you could do is be the first CL member to buy coils in order to raise the car.

I have a stock height IS350 and i sometimes scrape on my driveways if I don't go at an angle/really slow. I have a really steep driveway though.

Would a driveway be the reason you wouldn't get an IS? Get a truck if you're worried about scraping ANY car. The IS isn't any lower than any other stock height car. If you lower it and get GFX or an aftermarket front lip is another story. It's all in the approach as well!

take the driveway on at an angle, this will give you more lift once the first tire hits. thats the only way i can make it over speed bumps or any steep hill.

Agree, buy the car, drop it then redo the driveway till it doesn't scrape.
