is a video if you ever want to diy. not easy and doesnt happen overnight.
at OP, sewells CF oem replacement is not real oem. it is a printed over silver cf trim and also costs way more than the FX auto. FX auto is your best bet.

there is no such thing as 'oem carbon fiber' (to my knowledge), so sewell does not have it... (they only had the silver trim with cf vinyl overlay)
the closest you can get is to have your oem trim overlaid with cf (what fxauto does)...
i believe thinkdesign has some cf interior parts for 2IS and IS-F but not sure if they have the whole interior trim kit... they are rare and $$$$$

Actually, like I stated, the fit is perfect! It looks factory. True, it's got the tape, but isn't the wrapping glued on or is it held in place some other way? It's actually the same kit as posted in the pic above. The OP stated $399 to install the Sherwood "overlay", not wrapping ![Wink](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

They offer the fabric in different colors.
I got mine from pyspeed:
http://www.pyspeed.com/product-p/rd-8001.htm
but you can get it cheaper at cfwraps.com

@shiny250: im not sure if its the same fabric but they do offer the fabric in glossy black.

It doesn't show the cup holder lid specifically, but should give you an idea on how to wrap. The cup holder lid is probably the hardest because of the edges and contours.

If you have an unlimited budget, Think Design is probably best in terms of quality (although FX is close for 1/4 the cost). But expect to pay upwards of $2,000 with TD for the complete 7 piece interior trim. And it's hard to find.
Here's what the FX Auto real carbon fiber trim looks like in my car:
