I use the shammy for the outside to wipe the dash down. Never have any issues.

shammy is a great idea as it won't leave lint.
I wonder what the solution is to remove the scuffs short of airbrushing?

I liked the matte finish too, but it's hard to hide any scuffs. I use aerospace 303 and it adds a gloss that's not too intense for me and adds SPF protection. May want to check it out! Worst case you could use aero then keep wiping it down to lessen the wet look.

Have you tried good ol' fashioned soap and water with an old toothbrush? I get the black scuffs out with that. No chemicals touch my dash - the only real thing I use is leather conditioner on the seats.

I did try a toothbrush but the white sneaker marks on the black plastic don't budge

I also tried a magic eraser but am unfamiliar with the marker.

Oh WHITE marks on black.....What did you use for soap? Are you sure it's white sneaker rubber or are they light scratches? Black plastic will turn to white if slightly scraped because it's a fine layer that is lifted.

Mine was the other way around. Sorry.

Good thought; if it is scratched then what can be done short of airbrushing with dye?

Thnx
