Personally, I think tinted windows has always had a luxurious touch from the exterior point of view. But having the rears tinted and not the front just looks off IMO. Most BMW's and MB's have that bluish tint that looks very nice, and it's light enough to where one can have it installed on all windows so the tint is even throughout. But living in so cal, especially the summers here, tints (esp. with high solar rejection) is a necessity.

I never thought it's something luxury, or can be called as a "mod", or or or..etc

It's just darkening the windows, some people like the privacy, and some people like it for reducing the heat, or both.

Notice a big difference with tint....it keeps the car a lot cooler. No need to blast the ac in socal. However it's common to get pull over for tint in socal, so it's up to you.

I have 35% all around now and it's nice for the heat/leather. It looks nice with my black car as well. Although I didn't have tint on my last 2 modified cars so the ladies could see me!

I never own a car without tint. Thanks for reminding me to call the tint man

Once you realize how nice it is to drive one you'll never go back......just seems like it softens everything, headlights, sun, reflections...

I think it looks much better tinted. It makes the windows blend with the black B pillar. The only problem I've noticed with tint is that the auto dimming rear view mirror is less sensitive. I have 35% tint.

i have 5% all the way around and 35% on the windshield. and my autodimming in the mirror makes everything look green, i just shut it off and it looks normal.
