Default vibration like no other

Hi guys i have a Lexus IS250 AWD 2008 with about 32k miles on the odometer. i went to mess around in the snow a bit today and afterwards i get this vibration throughout the whole car at low speeds but not very subtle. So i decided to turn the car off for a bit and take for a spin on the highway and above 40 the vibrating is insane for this car. I made a online service appointment i dont know how well those work, Lexus of Queens completely sucks ***** in the quality of service and take a bit of time to accomplish anything. last time my water pump broke and took them 8 hrs but refused to give me a loaner. So im going to try the Rallye Lexus of long island. Any feedback on them would be much useful. Do you guys think its my alignment or maybe its my power steering?

This is more than likely the cause. Just check for snow and remove if necessary. I've seen this happen a time or two.

To answer your question Rallye is ok (cute cashier too!) but a bit expensive (although all dealers all).

Hope it is only snow though!

Oh - and for the tsib - good luck with that. They are going to tell you that your brakes are fine and they know nothing about a TSIB,

Well, assuming your messing around was just harmless fun, I would still suspect the snow first. Weather conditions affect the stickyness of the snow, so it's not likely to happen every time you mess around like this. I used to work in a tire shop during my undergraduate days, and this was something that we saw in the winter. It is, however, possible that something else is going on, but i doubt it.

darn i didnt wanna buy new brake pads. i havent changed the brakes for about 8k and when i got the car from the dealer there was so much air in the brakes. so TSIB is a no go? Wouldnt the vibration be covered part of the 4 year /50k warranty plan?

ive had this vibration issue while goin 60+ mph on the van wyck highway after the first snow storm of this winter... it got stronger as i went faster... its just the snow accumulated within the area of the wheels... lexus of queens sucks.... appealing but i wouldnt recommend it to anyone... rallye lexus seems to be improving their customer service... goodluck

i remember when it snowed really hard a few weeks back in chicago, after driving around in the snow for about 20 mins my car started making this screeching sound like metal rubbing on metal, it made the sound even when i wasnt breaking, i took a look outside and there was so much snow stuck between my fenders and tire, anyone have an idea what was making the sound?

Same thing happened to me few years ago and it was just the snow inside the wheel wells. See if u have any in there and clean it out, then go for a test drive.

Its worse when you have lips on your rims, the snow cakes in and the car felt like it was about to fall apart lol

lexus of queens got some bad reviews. I've been to rockville centre once and they were ok, if you go to rallye, let me know how it is.
