You should check out pics of both AVS and JDM or better yet go to mini meets in your area, just check out the regional section in the forums. good luck

My wife bought me the JDM ones when she was visiting her parents in Japan. When I told her I was selling the 350 she said she didn't care I was selling the car but I had to take off the visors. lol

I just installed the AVS seamless visors. Pretty easy installation but, I have a question. Is the top half of the flange suppose to be exposed? I can't seem to get it underneath the rubber guard. Other than that, I think it looks pretty good for $100!

It looks like you have them on correctly. What do you mean by "the top half of the flange exposed? Do you mean in the front where tucks under the trim at the mirror?

Hi,

Yes, the part that tucks under the trim at the mirror. It almost looks as if it can be tucked under the rubber guard but, I'm not sure. Thanks for the quick reply.

Sorry to revive an old thread but i've got a question. I've just orderd these (the JDM ones) and they should arrive within a week but i can't seem to find any place that describes how you're supposed to attach these to the car. Do i just click them onto the door or do they go underneath the rubbers or...? Does anyone know?

It clips on between the door and the rubber seal and uses double-sided tape for a secure hold. It's so simple that instructions aren't really needed. Once you get them and take a look at it, you'll understand how to install.

Yeah, you'll know what to do once you see it.

I was thinking about getting AVS but could they be jacked easily?

The AVS ones are easier to jack than the JDM ones. The JDM ones have metal clips that hold them on better. But make no mistake...if someone wants to take them, they will, clips or not.
