Default Tires for IS 350 stock 18 wheels

What do you guys think is the best tire to get in terms of performance, how long the tire will last & best price? I need to replace my Eagle F1's A/S.

Also another issue I noticed is the car seems to pull to the right sometimes?

Did anyone decide to go with the Lexus Complimentary VSA? Wondering what I should do I Have around 32k miles on my car.

+1 to his +1 on the Hankooks. Hard to do much better for performance in a street tire, and excellent pricing too.

Did you hit anything like a curb, or pothole that could have misaligned your car? May want to check that out, like $60-$100 for an alignment inspection and fix.

I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to tires so sorry if this is a dumb question but how closely do or should you adhere the summer, winter and all season ratings?

I live in Austin, TX so we get below freezing a few times a year but very rarely to never do we have to worry about snow and/or ice. Could I use the Hankooks year round or would I be better off getting all season tires?

I remember early on in the vehicles life I had the same issue & the alignment was off a lot...I really have to hold onto the steering wheel or it pulls. Should I take it to Lexus or somewhere else? The last time I took it to get inspected the dealer said one of the struts was blown on the drivers side too, what should i do with this?
Guys are the hankook really that good considering how cheap they are compared to other tires (michelin, bridgestone, ect)? Good question Longhorn

If you're looking for an A/S again the Continental ExtremeContact DWS are the best IMO.

Well the A/S tires did end up lasting me a little bit longer than the stock Dunlops but then again I did drive a bit more aggressive. How many miles can hankook last around 15-20k? Whats the noise ratio?

I've had these on both of my IS350's. Best A/S tire IMO. However it appears the OP lives in LA so an A/S would likely not be needed unless he wanted longevity. The DWS's are warrantied until 50,000 miles. You're not going to get much better than that on a low profile 18in tire.

My95 how long do the DWS last on average & will I notice a diff in performance between them & summer tires?

Summer tires will outperform all-seasons, all else being equal... all seasons are 2nd or 3rd best in pretty much any conditions behind summer and winter tires.

That said, AMONG all seasons the DWS tires are excellent.

As to the Winter in Austin question-

I'm running the Hankooks.

Above 35-40 degrees drive em hard as you want, awesome tires.

Below 35-40... if it's wet/icy/snowy... leave the car home.

Below 35-40 if it's DRY you'll be fine as long as you're driving easy (ie don't try taking the off ramp at 90). I've driven on them down to 20 or so without issue just by going easy on the tires, but the roads were dry at the time.

Kurtz what are the hankooks rated to last mile wise? So far I did not notice a huge diff in my tires lasting between the stock dunlop & the Goodyear A/S F1's...maybe got 3-5 k more outta the A/S. what would the diff be between the hakook & DWS?
