If anyone has had an issue with the NAV screen switching automatically back to map view from climate, audio, etc even when that option is turned off your feedback would be greatly appreciated. It didn't do this until recently and I have turned the option on and off several times.

The only time it doesn't do it is if I have a DVD playing.

Press the DISP button, and there's something there can switch it off as I remember.

Thanks rashdooz...i have tried that several times and it still doesn't stop going back to map view...wondering if there is a way to reset the nav or fix this in one of the "hidden" menus...i have been in those many times and may have changed something?

Its a setting in the settings menu. Maybe the Info button, then settings? I know i turned mine off though ('09 Lex), so it is possible, just dig through the menus if I'm off.

EDIT: Nevermind, saw you already switched the setting. I guess I'm of no help... sorry!

Thanks heyarms. My unit must have an issue as changing the setting stops it for a bit then it reverts back....don't think it's the mod I did as it was fine for over a year...will continue to investigate.
