All Weather mats
I guess this is more addressed to Canadian owners, but how are your all weather mats? I'm planning on heading up to Vancouver to get the oem mats for my 350, and i'm wondering if its they're the pre-recall mats? My parts guy down here said a lot of people actually go up to Vancouver to get them since we can't get them down here. I realize I could get the weathertech ones, but I want the oem ones...

I have the old winter mats, and I love them... My dealership has the new mats on order, but from what I understand they aren't nearly as good as the old ones. The old ones have a ridge around the outside of them to actually keep water from seeping into your carpet...the new ones are basically just a flat piece of rubber.

i think the op is referring to the canadian all-weather mats. i have a set that i had picked up from a dealer in toronto back in aug 2009. over a year later and it's still holding up pretty well. most of the white L logo came off, but there is no signs of a hole forming. I had the US all-weather mats and a hole formed in less than a year from my heel. it doesn't contain water as well as the US version since it doesn't have raised ridges or anything, but i'm happy with the Canadian version.

The all weather mats is okay for rainy days but if you live in a city where it snows a lot during the winter season I recommend getting the Weathertech FloorLiner DigitalFit.

I've had my Canadian OEM mats for 2 winters now with minimal salt stains, but that's only because I'm very careful. Otherwise, the tread depth pattern is very shallow. Also, expect the white logo, especially on the driver's side to stain.
Overall I give these mats a for style! You're looking at paying $160 CDN. If I knew you guys liked these I would have picked up a like new set from a local for half that price and post it in the classifieds.
