Hey guys, I'm just looking for some opinions on getting the Lexus extended warranty. I just bought a 2011 IS 350 awd and plan on keeping it for as long as I can. From what I hear on this forum not many people are running into any major problems. I drive about 30k kilometers a year (mostly highway) and I'm looking into getting the 72 month/180k kilometer warranty. The dealer offered me the package for $3000 tax included and they're also throwing in 4 free oil changes and a tire rotation. The $3000 is also fully refundable if I don't use the extended warranty after the 72 months or 180k.
Any input would be appreciated.
