Because that's what it is. It has unique parts that make it different.
Grilles, wheels, seats, headliner, steering wheel, sport suspension, etc. etc.
It's like how a "TRD Offroad" version of a Tacoma doesn't actually have any TRD parts, per se.
It has a lot of different parts, but they're not the same as the F-Sport accessory parts.

Thanks everybody for the compliments! It is certainly a great looking car and the performance is awesome.
Regarding the F-Sport package - Here is a comment from Knightshade at a different forum:
To be honest, I got it over a Smokey Granite w/Nav and Value Luxury Package primarily because of the rims, which I love, and the sport seats (great support), and white-contrast stitching in the leather trim / steering wheel, which looks sharp! Plus it is black.. I like..
I want to add the intake right away, then possibly exhaust. Not really looking for more horses just meaner sound.
Rear sway bar mentioned sounds intriguing, will that make a big difference in handling, and how?
For sound: MS-8 first, then front stage, then sub(s). I am going to approach that progressively so as not to have to drop 3-4k all at once

The info I've seen suggests that the F-sport package is re-using the "sport suspension" from the previously offered (and more full-featured) Sport Package that is no longer available on the 2IS.
That would include a 0.4 inch drop in front, and no change in height in the rear, along with firmer springs and shocks.
The big advantage here over the F-sport stuff is the springs are linear, not progressive.
