Default Changing flappy paddle timing, is it possible?

I am not sure how many of y'all use the flappy paddle shifters, but I am 100% of the time (except for timed runs). The one thing I dislike is the delay from the time I up-shift/down-shift to the time the transmission actually changes gears. This is a long shot, but does anyone know of a way to change the timing?

the flappy paddles dont actually change gears in our car. They only act as gear limiters, if you do a search there are multiple threads dedicated to this topic.

Buy the IS F. It solved all these problems for me.

Speed costs money. How fast do you want to go?

Looks like you need to join the military and fly airplanes...

I think this is one area where I find Lexus' advertising of the IS350 to be rather irresponsible. The paddles are routinely touted as "shifters" when they aren't, as others have pointed out.

For all intents and purposes, the IS350 is a fully automatic car.

The IS-F, on the other hand, has actual paddle shifters that are quite good from what I hear.

Yes, if I am not mistaken it is ~.1 sec. That is up there with an F1

I have them. They're great. I also had a 350. I too was disappointed with the whole idea there were paddles but they didn't do what you expected.

No the paddles arent true gear selectors BUT hit a tight twisty mountain road, they work just fine, you gotta know how to work them and plan for the shifts...

So let me add a question to this post:
Is our 6sp common to other Toyota models or exclusive to Lex?
Just curious, as Levelten has kits for several Toyota's.
