Hurts to see an IS like this..
In my opinion, it looks totaled. If the repair cost is greater than half the car then your insurance will consider it totaled.

which is one reason i hope it totaled! it gonna be hard to get an close match to that sage color.
yeah and the airbag not going off makes me iffy about it being totaled. my friends tsx look had just about the same damage as the IS but hit airbags deployed and was considered totaled

Sorry to see that but like everybody else, glad nobody is seriously hurt. I'm completely guessing but I would say not totaled because it doesn't look like the engine compartment was affected and the car probably has a lot of residual value.
I would imagine you want it totaled though because I feel like cars are humpty dumpty, can't be repaired back to original status. Plus, you will lose value on it since it will have an accident recorded on the title. See if your state allows you to get compensated for Diminished Value because of the accident.
