Dont you only get this if you already had the extended warranty? I got a free extended warranty from Lexus so I don't think I'm eligible. To the CPO guy, you basically had the extended warranty built into your CPO already, so that's probably why you got it. Regardless... its worth a phone call so I'm sitting on hold now...

I haven't received anything yet since I spoke to the rep last month. Are you suppose to get both the extended warranty and $500 automatically or I need to contact them about the warranty also?

I called Lexus this morning ..they said they entered them ALL into their system on Friday and that if I don't have it by next Friday the 18th to call them back. I'm going to get the F sport intake and I think the GFX front lip as well!! I can't wait!!!

It's one or the other. The warranty extension to 100,000 miles is your $500 gift card

I didn't purchase the extended warranty and lady I spoke to this morning confirmed I was still getting the gift card...

did you buy new or CPO?

as a previous post mentioned, the 100k power train warranty is included with a CPO.

maybe you just got lucky!

My car is CPO and still under basic warranty. I got the valve spring recall work done a couple of months back. I wonder if I'm eligible to get this gift card. I've got the number and will give Lexus a call.

My car was under no warranty when I bought it (63000 miles), and not CPO so I didn't expect anything. But I just called now and asked and they said yes I should be getting the $500 gift card soon. I asked then will I get the 100k power train warranty, and they said that is a choice, so either that or the gift card. So it seems if you have nothing you can either choose the 100k drive train or the gift card, but it seemed for me atleast I was already default gift card?

Maybe that will clear some things up.

So, I'm a little confused about something. They'll do the warranty work for free at a lexus dealer and give you a $500 gift card? Or they'll give it to you if you pay out of pocket to have it done???

Sorry, I don't even have one of these cars yet but I've been looking for the right one to buy. Want to make sure that it has been done or at least can be done after I make a purchase.

I check my mail every day jajaja....I have an 06 and have have an extended warranty with carmax so all I had to do was call Lexus and fax them a copy of my warranty and now I'm waiting on my gift card. I am gonna get some f sports parts they are already in my sewell shopping cart jajaja.

I bought it used in 2007 still under warranty but not CPO.. I did get the letter in the mail a while back stating that they were extending my PT warranty for free. So I called today and I told them all this and they asked if I was registered on the lexus site and I said yes, I did it a long time ago. So then he asked if I bought the car new or used. I said used. He pulled my account up with my name and then he connected me with another lady. She said yes I will get a card and that they were entered into the system on Friday and I should have it by this week or next. She said if I don't have it by the 18th to call them back. So it sounds like everyone is getting one regardless...who knows! I'm getting mine and thats all I care about
