for all those who received their lexus $500 gift card from the letter in the mail about the valve spring recall, what are you going to spend it on? only thing i can think of really is oil changes right now but maybe someone will give me a better idea.

i got my valve springs done last month. how long does it normally take for it to come in? and do we have to ask for it?

I just called Lexus at 1-800-255-3987 and spoke with a Rep. and told them I never got my gift card for the valve recall work, and now there sending me one, they said i would take 4-6 weeks...point is, call lexus! get your money! i didnt have extended warranty either, just CPO.

So i have a 2006 IS350 but its out of warranty but my friend has a 2008 IS350 that is IN warranty. His car is added to my list on my lexus cars so if I call lexus about his car thats on my list will I get the $500 gift card? I would love a F sport intake .

I already asked my buddy and he said its fine.

UPDATE: I just spoke with Lexus. They stated that if you had the recall work done, as an inconvienience, everyone will be getting the $500 gift card if they had a warranty/extended warranty. So if you were out of warranty or didn't have extended warranty, are you out of luck? I didn't ask that since we have the Platnium warranty. She stated "90% will receive their gift card in February, and the rest by mid-March".
