Has anyone done the exchange from a factory lip trunk spoiler to the IS-F or F- Sport package trunk spoiler?
Do I have to deal with new holes in the trunk or the holes of the trunk will match?
Real fact will be appreciated. Maybe even photos if someone documented the change.

The IS-F and F-Sport trunk spoiler has holes on top of the trunk, regular 2IS trunk spoiler has holes on the back of the trunk.. If switching spoilers, you will have to consider the holes that will show from the previous installed spoiler..

off topic a little here, what about the f-sport carbon fiber lip spoiler? does that require drilling for install? my car didn't come with a rear lip spoiler begin with.

I don't believe there are OEM carbon fiber trunk spoilers for our cars, anything else is aftermarket. From what I seen, most aftermarket trunk spoilers just use double sided tape to hold on. Even the oem spoilers, the bolts can be removed if you don't want to drill your trunk. I personally prefer the regular trunk spoiler over the IS-F/F-Sport. IMO flows better with the car.

Others might disagree but I prefer the lip spoiler greatly over the F-Sport. It's all personal taste, of course.

i prefer oem trunk lip too, but i can't find it anywhere online. sewellparts only has the f-sport carbon fiber ones, but they look exactly like the oem except they're made of CF.
