* * * UPDATE * * *

The shifting problem has returned, and now the car is making the rattling sound at start-up, again!!! I already had the rattling-startup TSB done last year, and the Valve Recall done last month....WTF is going on man? I am calling the dealer tomorrow....and if they give me any crap, I am going to get Lexus Corporate involved. This is unacceptable!!!

^^Ouch that has to hurt. I had the valve recall done in oct. I got my car back and everything seemed fine with the engine (besides for them scratching my carbon fiber engine cover). Now I have the start up rattle again. Im probaly going to video tape the start up and then im going to probaly go to another dealer to get it checked.

Yeah , what he said ! No one is opening my engine up for anything until something is broke. I'll roll the dice on the Tahara assembly robots doing just fine. Non-issue, cause I use synthetic oil.

It's all government conspiracy to help GM and drag Toyota (Lexus) down. I will have this car five years on March, 14. It has 26K miles and no rattle, no surge, no crazy-a$$ throttle sticking, none of that. My IS-350 is just gettin' broke in. Nothing wrong with that car, It runs like a champ.

Only three recalls that have been performed: new bolts for rear calipers, new stainless steel fuel line and a new steering rack. (And if I had been thinking clearly the steering rack would not have been replaced).
Don't want no software downgrade. It puts brake dust all over the front wheels and I like it ! Don't want no gift card.
Putting new tires on the rear next week.
