Default road noise sensitivity when driving at low speeds?

I just got an IS250 2008 and for some reason when driving at slow speeds (under 15mph) I'll hear a lot of pebble/sand/dirt noise hitting something on the bottom of the front driver side.. Is this normal? It's weird because the road I drive on looks pretty clear without much pebbles/dirt/rocks and I drove down the same road everyday when I had my accord I never heard these noises..

Also there is an engine ticking noise coming from the valve when I idle.. is this normal of the IS250 2008 model?

About the noise, is this when you are turning and are you talking about AWD or RWD?

Ticking is normal, this is from direct injection.

It's when I go straight on my RWD.

You might just have stickier tires on the IS.

Could you let us know what tires are on your vehicle?

Sounds like your tires might be cupped...rub your hand over the tire tread and feel if it is smooth, and not wavy or uneven...and especially the inner edge of the front tires...

Ok...but did you check to see and feel if the tires are wearing uneven?
