Hey guys, just a question out of curiosity, but is it possible to have a replica F-sport exhaust? What if you have the one without the logo on the tips, how can you tell its legit f-sport other then the part numbers on the 3 pieces?
I remember some member(s) ordered a F-sport exhaust from Sewell and it did not have the etching on the exhausts. It was a genuine F-sport, just didn't have the engraving.
if i'm not wrong you can also check the mufflers only one side actually is a working muffler.... or something like that... read that somewhere before... and ummm the old Lexus HKS does not have the F-sport etching but in actuality they are almost identical...

Yeah I saw that one, it was in their clearance area.
I just bought mine today from another member on here and it doesnt have the etching on there. But there were the part numbers on there so that checks out. Unlesss......is there anyway to have some one forge the etching on there??? lol
You can't I guess.... The part# on the pipes would be the only evidence if u don't have the logo on the tip.

now that im looking a little closer at these ebay exhausts, only the f-sport and HKS come in 3 pieces. The two canisters and then the y-pipe. All of the ebay cheapo exhaust one of the canisters is actually directly connected to one end of the y-pipe, then the other canister is conected with a flange to the other end of the y-pipe. Interesting. Just an observation.
