Default What size spacers are needed for my desired look?

I have an IS250 AWD and will be installing bc coils soon. I want to push out my wheels a bit but I'm not into the flush look, I'd actually prefer the wheels to be slightly tucked but not sunked in. I have the staggered oem is350 18' wheels on with 225/40/18 tires all around. My question is what size spacers should I run to achieve the slightly tucked look (also what brand is best)?

here is an idea of what I'm looking for

i have 15mm fronts and 20mm rear. they are flush but do not stick out. do you really wanna tuck? or just want it to be flat? mine sticks out a tiny bit more than that picture, so i guess 10mm frount and 15 rear for you?

Hmm curious what your 225s look like on the 8.5 wheels.

Was thinking of doing the same thing but with 235s all around.

a 20mm in the back and 15mm up front should keep you nice and flush.

Your running staggered with 225/40/18 all around on AWD with no concerns?

you can run 225/40 all the up to a 9" wide wheel. the rears are only 8.5. the overall rolling diameter is almost the same.

the pic doesnt even look like the car has spacers. But someone should make a sticky of how to measure since everyone always asks

Park your car on level ground. take a piece of string or thing thread. tie a bolt around one end. take the other end and tape it to the top center of your fender. let the bolt end hang down. take a ruller and measure from your tire to the string. that will give you a flush look. take off or add millimeters for your desired tuck or poke.

I find that the rears need more than 5mm to match the front. I don't even have a problem with the front spacing really, but I plan on running 15mm rear spacers.
