Looks good! How does it look shifted all the way to the bottom? And where would the boot go? Looks like not enough room?

It wont be much of a shift boot, but it will get rid of that cheap looking plastic. I have an idea in my head on how to do it, i just need the boot now

Oh and if you cant tell, i painted the shifter plate plastic a grey metallic, it looks almost identical to the OEM silver trim so i got lucky with that. I also sprayed the cup holder with black plasti dip and also the side trim pieces

Does the shifter hit the console when you put it all the way down or when you use the sport shift?

Painted it cause mine was all screwed up, im gonna get the carbon fiber trim eventually.
And nope the shift **** doesnt hit !

the man deserves a lot of credit...hack-sawing his shifter and painting the trim within 2 pages of this thread is quite impressive.
BTW the guy with the red shorts really needs to tan those legs

I actually didnt see your thread, i was just sitting in my car and saw how ugly it was and needed to change it and i knew no one really does this as a mod so i figure why not..
