If you don't care about the lower mpg I would go with the F. If it's your daily driver then I would go drive both and see if you like the drive of the F.

Dude, if I had 40K available to spend I would immediately go and buy the F! By owning the F you are just different on the streets. You may break a few necks here and there with people staring at your car.

go with the IS-F... only if you have a Honda dingle cam as a daily. Gas is getting expensive.

Thats why I have a Prius for a daily!!

The ride is a lot harder especially on the early ones. I had an ISF loaner and found the seats too tight for a DD. I was glad to get my 350 back. The power is great but geez how often would you use it? I think your age will be a factor. If you are young get the F. If you are middle age or older get the 350.

Seems pretty clear at this point ... but I'd definitely get the F

The 350 is quick for sure but after you get the few "affordable" mods, you'll be wanting that F. At least that's where I'm at now.

What dealership gave you an ISF loaner? I've never heard of an ISF being loaned out before.

The only loaner cars we get around these parts are:

1) IS250 (never an IS350, only 250s are loaned out)
2) ES350
3) RX 350
4) HS 250h

Speaking of LFAs (sorry for being off topic), apparently Paris Hilton got one for her 30th birthday from her boyfriend she met in Las Vegas. NOT FAIR. I need to go to Las Vegas...

I currently have a '06 IS 350, and was looking at upgrading to an F. But ultimately decided it wasn't a big enough upgrade/different to bother. I ended up keeping the 350, and getting an R8. I'm pleased.
