Are you HAPPY with your IS350??

Well, you mentioned that the electronic shift is "slower" as if you had some sort of expectation for it to "shift" the car quickly, and I just wanted to make it clear that gear limiters are not shifters.

And just to be clear, I'm not defending the paddles on the ISx50s. I think they are indefensible, and I find Lexus marketing them as paddle "shifters" to be thoroughly irresponsible. For all intents and purposes, the IS350 as a fully automatic car.

Initially I wanted a manual IS 250. Drove one at the dealer and really liked it. Didn't notice a lack of power. Could be, it was more power than what I was currently driving. I was swayed by comments on the various Lexus forums, regarding the manual transmission and best to go with the 350. The 350 is plenty powerful, just wish the gas mileage was better. But I knew that while taking several months to decide. I'm very happy and rate it a 10.

New owner of an IS350 and I'd rate it an 8-9 (if I get the F-sport sways on I bet it'll bump up to a 10).
I love the car. Don't get an IS250 if you want any kind of power. I've had 250's as loaners and there's simply no power there - 200HP is enough to get it moving, that's about it (and I don't mean offense, this is of course just my opinion).
By the way, my previous car was 2003 E55 AMG with 469HP, and I still think the 350 has plenty of power. More than you'll need in everyday driving and more than enough to have fun.

Thanks for your comments. I am very serious about getting an IS350, just have to find the right one. So hard to find white on black. I have owned quite a few "sporty" cars. Before I was married I had a G35 6speed with the brembo brake package. Before that the 350z and before that quite a few boosted Honda's. I absolutely loved my G35 but I have kids and need something that we can take them in if we don't want to drive our qx56.
