Exclamation Purchasing Front Tires Only

Wondering what the opinions are on replacing front tires only? I have an '08 250 with 24.5K miles and stock Bridgestones. The front inside edges are gone so I am getting Hankook's today. The rears seem to have some tread left and not yet down to wear bars. Don't drive a lot and wondering if waiting to replace rears will make any difference (handling, etc)?

I think it's up to you. You're doing right by replacing one axle ( both tires). Only if you want to spend the money. These are rear wheel drive cars though. Do you do enough spirited driving to warrant replacing good tires?

Not really a lot of "spirited driving" aside from some faster than normal turns and curves. Live in SF Bay Area so too much traffic and lot of porholes to have a lot of opportunity.

I put hankooks on the front with oem rear...no issues at all. You wont notice how awesome the hankooks are though until you get rid of those rears in a few thousand miles but at this point you dont know the difference so dosent matter.
