Default My WORK rims are ruined!!! Need help!

Was about to do a car wash today until I found this on all 4 wheels!! The black chrome plating are all peeling off! What in the world happened? I thought Work rims are all about quality.. And can wheel shops repair this back to normal?

What kind of wheel cleaner have you been using?

They'd have to re-do the whole wheel in black chrome. It's not cheap I don't think.

did you buy these brand new? if so,you can get them fix under warranty(of course you need to show the receipt, the one in Japanese is your warranty paper), but sorry to tell you that it's gonna take forever, at least half a year.

Soap and water is your best friend. I doubt WORK will not warranty your wheels.

Frequent cleanings mean that less harsh cleaners are required to get the desired result. I always tell people to use soap and water (weekly), and you will not have to use the "amazing" brake dust cutting wheel cleaners. It is a matter or frequency, not the strength of the cleaner........ Go for the warranty angle by all means, and good luck. In the future, soap and water......... I use the same wash mitt and cleaner on my wheels as I do on the rest of the car, but do wheels and tires last. Wash it once a week and they aren't hard to get clean.

That P21S sounds like some pretty strong stuff. I would never use that kinda stuff on any special coating or my wheels for that matter. I just use meguires shampoo for my soap and water. For the wheels after a wash, i apply meguires NXT.
