my hankooks do great in rain in FL...never really had any issues but i maintain my air pressure and replace my tires at 2/32 so they never get too bald

All else being equal all-seasons are inferior to summer tires in all conditions wet or dry except below freezing temps.

(and in those conditions all-seasons are inferior to winter tires)

Depends.

Is it dry and 25-30 degrees?

Just don't try cornering at 90 and you'll be fine.

Is it snowing heavily?

Pull over and call a cab. Your tires are worthless in this weather. That's why they call em summer tires.

Personally for any place that gets a snow "season" I highly recommend running summer tires outside this season, and dedicated winter tires during it... you'll outperform all seasons 365 days of the year this way...and by a large amount (25-40% depending on conditions for acceleration, handling, and braking).

For a place (like where I currently live) that you get like 2 days of actual snow a year, but some below-freezing temps, summers are fine and just avoid driving those 2 days a year.

^^^^ well i dont really drive my IS when it snows. But im actually worried about wet conditions.

I learned the first winter i had my IS350 that it was useless in snow lol

Yeah, regular wet is fine.. summer tires are better than all-seasons in wet and dry long as it's too warm to snow

(heck, even winters are better than all-seasons in wet too... all seasons kinda suck at most things)

The hankooks have gotten plenty of good remarks from the vette forum with the exception of the softer sidewalls, otherwise the performance seems to be nearly on par with the michelin ps2 on the street. Only thing to monitor is your treadlife...some members there have reported a far shorter life than expected (15k or so, which was about what my c6 goodyears lasted).

About to get the Hankooks for my 250, but only need fronts. Is it okay to mix them with the stock Bridgestones out back?

bad idea to get new tires on front and leave worn out tires on rear.

I heard the same thing. So another option is to squeeze out a few more 1000 miles out of the fronts until the rears are ready for replacement? Don't know what else to do at the moment. Can't afford four new tires.
