why do people keep hitting me? (slowly becoming javy)
So two years ago, i had someone take a right turn from the left lane on a two lane road and ruined my front end. that ended up being just under $8000 in damages.
then just under a year later, someone hits my driver rear quarter and leaves while my car was parked. that was about $1100 in damages.
now about a month ago, while i was parked, i walked about 10ft away from my car and someone hits my right rear quarter. i walk up and got their information.
now about 2 hours ago, someone backs up into my front bumper and leaves their car. the driver wasn't present but the car's smacked up against my front end. called the cops and got their info.
i mean am i just in the wrong places at the wrong time? i mean im fortunate none of the incidents are my fault but i feel like my car spends more time at the body shop than it does on the road.

sorry to hear about that man. I've had my car as a daily driver for 3 years and it doesn't even have a door ding. Just be very selective where you park and be aware of your surroundings when you drive. Example, park far away from everyone else everywhere you go and watch peoples eyes when they drive to see if they are fully aware.

Don't feel too bad I'm in the same boat, lost a front bumper to a truck tire on the highway, then a week after getting my car back someone pulled out in front of me in a 55 zone destroying my new bumper, headlight, and fender...then I get rear ended in a hit and run requiring my rear bumper be repainted and about 2 weeks ago someone with no insurance backed into my front bumper requiring repaint and a bit of body work. I'm just gonna put a vinyl target on my car...you want one? haha

thanks everyone! i actually got a call from my insurance today and they said "oh okay! awesome! we'll just go ahead and waive your deductible and pay the shop in full. you're all set!"
the pictures helped. and i realized not matter where i park, i get hit regardless. i always park far away from everyone else in isolated areas. whenever possible i park next to "islands" so that if anyone does park next to me, it's only one side. last night i actually parked at far away from all the other cars and there was two or three spots available in front of my car and another 150ft of space in front of that (there was a bus stop and then more spaces ahead). this person could have parked in any other spot and not hit anything yet they chose my car. oh well. it's going into the shop tomorrow.
