LoL, I love how all the hater *****es come in here and tell me how slow my 250 is.

My response is **c* ya'll. I don't give two ****s that the RX was faster.

It's SUPER BORING to drive. The joystick thing is awful and just to change the sat station UP or down one station you have to reach halfway across the dashboard to do it.

I enjoyed the drive for about 10 mins. After that it's like driving a ford taurus. I can't believe how many ppl drive em!

I'm still in love with my 250. My next car will probably be a 350awd in 5 or 6 years......but to even compare an RX to an IS is blastmephy!

had a loaner RX350 for two weeks ... sorry, I'll take that all day long over a 250. The RX interior was very nice, it pulled strongly, and it was really smooth and comfortable. Handled MUCH better than the RX330 I drove a couple years back. Funny thing, the engine note is a lot more throaty and aggressive than my IS350 was when it was stock.

 

I know this is going to make me sound harsh, but I had to comment.

Why are you comparing a RX to an IS? That's just stupid. Its like people complaining about SUVs and trucks rolling over ( hellooooo, its not a sports car).

 

I'm on day 3 with a rx450 hybrid. What a dog when cruising and accelerating from a stop if you only push the pedal half way. in order to accelerate briskly, you must floor it 100%. Counting the hours to get my is350 tomorrow from the recalls.

 

i always get a ****box 250 with no options at all. its really annoying not having a backup cam. became too reliant on it haha

 

well the RX is created for a different purpose and different market than the IS. People shouldn't knock the car for doing what it's intended to do. it's possible to be appreciative of our IS without belittling the RX. It's like people with an LFA or IS-F wondering why so many people drive the IS, since it's obviously boring to drive compared to those two.

 

Still have my 2011 RX350 loaner since Lexus is still trying to figure out what's going on with my car. Like it, relaxing but don't like the gas guzzling.

All I was saying in the OP was how much I love the IS.

People started mouthing off to me about how the 2011 RX is FASTER and BETTER than my 250 in other posts.

you stated your opinion about the RX, and people stated their opinions about your car. Why are you getting mad again?

BTW I actually love the RX. Interior is a lot nicer than the IS.

 

I'm not getting mad. People are now asking me why I'm comparing the two models. I wasn't, others were comparing them. I was stating how much I missed my IS.

Keep on hating, I've got all week/month/year.

I thought the interior on the model I had felt more cheap and wasn't laid out nearly as nicely as the IS.

 

Yup, that's what I was saying. Even though it had 75 more hp than my 250 it still put me to sleep.

 

I drove the rx, and it was decent. It's actually has a ton of room which is nice, but thats about it. The only thing that I really liked was if you get the power steering wheel feature then it pushes the steering wheel in and the seat back for you to get out easier, which is awesome.
