mine goes in on friday for the fuel sensor, they say they will inspect first before they do anything.

Recall pays me 1.7 hours to tighten sensor and 3.1 hours to replace the gasket.

Just picked up mine from the dealer. I think the total invoice was around $187 (not paid for my me of course). I can't believe some are getting twice that?

The only out of pocket I had was a rear differential service for $75 which I thought wasn't too bad.

Rear differential service? Did you request that? Because we do not service the trans or diff due to them having lifetime oil

They offered it, and it is in the maintenance schedule for my car.

What car is that?

because it's certainly not in the maintenance schedule for the RWD IS250 or IS350.

250 here:
http://www.lexus.com/pdf/service/MY1...S_250C_WSG.pdf

350 here:
http://www.lexus.com/pdf/service/MY1..._C_ISF_WSG.pdf

(it IS called for on the IS-F... because it has a limited slip, which the 250/350 do not)

That sounds awfully snide, but I'll respond anyway. In my maintenance schedule it is listed as service for the 72mo/60K mile service, and then again for the 144mo/120K mile service. I can scan a copy of the page and post it if you still don't believe me.

Apparently, Lexus took this out of the service schedule in later years/models of the IS.

Please do... because I have an 08 and it's not in my scheduled service either. I apologize if you took offense at the tone, it's just that it's been "common knowledge" this isn't a service item for a long time on here so I imagine a lot of folks would be interested to see it in your manual if it's there.

I'm picking mines up tomorrow. I got all three done too and a loaner. They said the brake master cylinder comes with two new thinner floor mats for the front; there's a big hole in my old driver side mat so I guess I dont have to buy a new one now
