Did my research but nothing that helps me fully. How does the deposit for the special order work in terms of LEASING the car? or how does this process work at all? (if its even doable)

Your thoughts and input are greatly appreciated! Thank you
Edit
Once the lease has ended, how does buying the car out work? whats this residual value stuff?
I want to lease the car for a lesser amount during the monthly payments as financing the car would cost too much for me right now. I plan to buy the car out once the lease ends but i dont wna buy it out if it ends being MSRP total. Should i negotiate bringing the "buying" price down first and then say i want to lease off of that figure?

Thank you all again

Its perfectly doable. I dont see why not. The deposit will probably be added towards the down payment, I guess it really comes down to which model you're willing to special order.

Just talk to the dealer and they will help you figure everything out.

i recommend ray catena in larchmont. i currently have a lease with them, and my family has leased with them in the past.

ray catena owns dealerships for multiple luxo brands in the metro area - which all swap lease-back inventory. i dont think they would have any worries taking back a special order lease from you 3 years down the road.

Thank you all for your input. I haven't asked my local dealership cuz my plan is to lease the car and buy it out after as financing the car would have too much of a monthly cost. I didn't want to show my cards as i feel id be giving away my advantage since i do plan to buy the car.

How does buying the car out after it's lease work? whats all this residual value stuff?

Thank you!

If you intend on owning the car you would be better off to just finance
it on a 60 or 72 month loan to minimize monthly payment.
