Hi,
I have been lurking for a while and wanted to say hello. I am on my second IS250 lease and think the cars are great. I dipped the rear emblems on my 11 Matador Red IS last weekend and plan to do the window trim and grill this weekend. I also got a CF overlay kit from AeroTect that will also be going in this weekend. Should be a fun experience. I will include some pics when everything is done.
I will probably get the roof vinyl'd soon, a gloss black to match the sunroof. I would love to do a little more, but need to stay pretty tame since it is a lease.
The dip on the emblems came out great, but I think I want to remove the "IS 250" completely. It looks out of balance since there is no "Lexus" on the opposite side. Any tips on removing them?
See you guys next week.

Hair dryer and dental floss...
First heat the badge with a hair dryer... after it gets warm... use dental floss and slide it through under the badge.
If you park your car outside on a sunny day, it should warm the badge so you can use dental floss.
BTW way, congrats on your car. Post some pics when you get the chance.

Congrats on the ride, I've seen a 2011 red the other day and my jaw actually dropped, at first the LED lights on the IS looked kinda wack compared to the Audi, but when I saw it during the day the running lights look pretty sweet.
Also I heard that if you debadge your ride you might have holes behind the.. I and the 5 if I'm not mistaken... Havn't done it to my ride for this reason

Ok, things for today have been completed. Could have gone better I suppose. The plastidip on the front grill was great on about 99%, but that 1% was enough to scrap it and try again later. De-badging was equally painful. There is a post behind the "S", so now I just have a 250. Oh well could have been worse.
The CF overlay went well, but I have a few spots that I would like to have back. Here are some pictures...
