I don't hate them and I think they look OK on the headlamps, but it's too much for them to be in the fogs as well. The possibility of improper sealing after pulling the headlamps apart is the most difficult part to stomach!

If you do this, please skip the foglights!

Honestly, I think halos look cool. It is kinda biting off BMW, but whatever. I've just heard too many horror stories about condensation or the rings just dying within a year or two.

If you can find a professional to do the job (someone who has done it several times with 100% success), go for it. I think it looks cool.

Don't worry about the haters from BMW owners. They are just pissed they are not special anymore.

EDIT: IMO - for the IS, only 2 halos looks the best. I wouldn't put halos around the DRL and fogs.
No we don't get pissed. . It looks tacky and stupid. Just like the audi style LED on all the ricers and trucks. It looks stupid. Please don't do it.

Yeah opening the headlight cover worries me a bit... like i said though... hoping maybe the dealer will do it for me... I know the condensation thing happens and JM will stand behind it if they dont reseal it properly.

Dealer won't do it. I've done many HID retros for others and myself and I've never had a condensation issue. But I'm sure it can happen if you don't re-seal correctly

i love angel eyes but after hearing about people's halos dying really quick, i wouldn't go that route. opening up the headlights again to take out/fix the halos would be a PITA. but if you like it, then thats what really matters!
