To be honest who cares if its real or fake? If i told you it was real you would never know and im not the type for "I Gotta have everything JDM!" Its a daily driver and to be honest im not in love with this car but im stuck with it for another 3 years so im modding it to my liking and not going to be showing this car so if i really need some $400 JDM window vents and get the $100 AVS ones am i a sucker for spending that kinda loot on 4 pieces of plastic or am i smart for getting something i want for a 1/3 of the price that does the same thing?

IMHO, generally speaking you are paying for quality and fitment. When modding a Lexus, these things count. Getting a discount on an OEM part is one thing, but purchasing a replica from eBay is quite another. OEM parts are generally backed by the seller, and shipping is quick and reliable. Just my $.02

If you don't love the car, why mod it? Just save your cash, drive it for 3 years and then trade it in. Then your not even wasting that 1/3 on replica parts.

But hey if you want to mod your car with replica stuff anyways...by all means do it! Not saying you can't or you shouldn't. Just remember that the replica parts won't be made of as good quality and you aint gonna have any sort of guarantee/warranty in most cases. Plus when you go try and sell your replica parts, you wont get jack back for it. Keep that in mind when your buying replicas and saying people who buy authentic are suckers. So no, your not really smarter for buying replicas.

BTW...If it wasn't for the company that came up with the part in the first place, you wouldn't have a replica. If everyone was like you, replica companies wouldn't have anything to replicate anymore and those of us who do like to mod and buy authentic would be S.O.L.

Pardon my ignorance but can you provide a link to where you made the purchase?

I looked up Sewell and I got a lex dealer that had an OEM spoiler for $500 so I'm confused. Thanks!

Thanks Joe, that was quick! Interesting that the price is now $235 where as others had purchased it for $170 just a few months earlier this year. Is there a discount code or CL membership discount?

Register on their site as a clublexus member and the price changes. I apologize i sent you a link where i wasnt logged in. I did log in right now and the cost is $166.80 for us CL members. It's a nice investment and makes the car look much nicer IMHO !

SWEET!!!
I would have happily paid the $235 as I think you're right, good investment. $170 is a bargain! Thank you again Joe

I just registered but there was no option to select that I was a CL member. How do I accomplish this?

I've used this 3M adhesive promoter on a 3 Series oem spoiler..
Makes the surface tacky for better adhesion and comes off with alcohol.
