Audi - The best looker but I didn't like the inside
BMW - Loved the handling, interior navigation position was good, but everything else inside felt cheap
MB - Best C class was the 350 which was less HP than the rest and the most expensive if I remember correctly

I like how some of the new German cars look but I heard about their issues. I was always interested in the IS and didn't want the same car as everyone else since I know a lot of people who own German cars.

i traded in my A4 for my IS, had nothing but problems with it. MB was not even on my list and BMW wanted more money for less car.

I liked the IS second generation since introduction. And most of the Lexus line but wouldn't consider anything but the IS. The timing was right, I didn't consider any other brand. Still can't think of anything I'd rather have.

MY family used to own an old Toyota Previa. It looked awesome at the time it was made and it easily lasted 200,000+ miles, without any issues, before we had to sell it. It was awesome for family trips... So reliability of the brand was a no brainer imo.

Fast forward several years and the GS and IS models came out. I test drove several BMW 3 series and Audi A4's at various events at several "taste of lexus" events. Although the 3 series had some serious handling skills, it just doesn't compare in styling and interior of my IS. The A4's, on the other hand, just looked too boring for my tastes.

Looking forward to taking my baby to 200,000+ miles (unless the next gen. IS's blow me away. but that'd take a lot to do. )

I left my B7(2006) A4 for a Lex over engine reliability reasons. In almost all cases the design of a Audi was far superior, right up until you talk about their motors. Hands down the Lexus shines there.
After sitting for two years in the cockpit of an '06 Audi, the Lex interior feels very low quality and generally lacking in thought out design. I truly miss that part of it.

If Audi gets their engines up to snuff or I win a lottery, I'd go back in a heartbeat. Till then I'm forced to stay what I need the most.... reliability.

Came from a Saab, which in itself was expensive to maintain and repair, and having talked extensively with friends who owned German cars, they all seem to have issues (expensive to maintain, expensive to repair, unreliable, etc), I came to the conclusion that I value a car that is none of those. I know several with Lexus vehicles, and they all spoke highly of Lexus, reliability, customer service, etc.

So after test driving all, doing even more research, I kept coming back to the decision to go with a Lexus. Found a great deal on an 08 IS250 AWD, and with the dealership treating me extremely well, I went with it. So far, I've been very happy with my decision.

the is is for my wife, and after test driving g35 seden, 328x, and x3, she liked the interior of the is best. for her the performance and power are not important, so the IS makes sense.

i looked at the c-class benz and i liked it, but i know better then to get a mercedes without a warranty lol

Reliable, low maintenance/charges, it's a Lexus, very sexy body lines, and great customer service

BMW-boring interior, expensive maintainence (still nice though)
MERC - not mod friendly (although the IS isn't really mod friendly either but still has more option than a c-300,also c class TO ME is more for a female no offense to the fellas that own one, but i rather go E-CLASS if i had to go MERC.
AUDI- Never was really a choice for me at the time, but with the Audi's out now maybe i would reconsider.
INFINITI- at the time no G37 but i will say before i test drove the new IS i was about to get a 05-06 G35 Sedan.

anyways LEXUS wins! interior, maintainence, exterior looks, performance, quality.
plus im japanese so ofcourse i would choose lexus over BMW

You should start a Poll instead with a few options... For me was reliability and resale value...
