Default Trunk Temperature...How well insulated are the trunks for the IS?

I was wondering how well insulated is my trunk. It appers to me that it is well insulated. When it is around 80 degrees out, and I leave my car parked, the trunk is not as hot as the inside of the car. Also, when I take my car cover off early in the morning it still has some morning dew on it. So I place it in my trunk, go to work for 10hrs (in 70-80 degree weather), come home and place my car cover back on my car... the dew is still on the car cover. It didnt evaporate nor does it feel warm to the touch. I am tempted to leave some chocolate cookies in my trunk on a warm day to see how fast they melt... if they melt at all. I guess the trunk lining is doing its thing.

why not just stick a temp gauge in your trunk on the weekend when you have time and just wait an hr or 2 to see how hot it really gets in there just a suggestion

the car is also getting warmer because of the glass which doesn't have any insulation on it
