Most dealerships have separate parts and service departments. The service department rarely cares where the parts come from, they get paid the same either way.
Customer supplied parts are pretty much never a problem.
I brought my car into the dealership for seized up rear brake calipers, and the service writer told me that I would actually save money by NOT using my own parts as they do package pricing on parts and labor. Long story short, they were charging too much money (over $1K), so I had them put it back together and I'll be doing the work myself this weekend.
sup bro sorry i didnt see u started this thread and i did one of my own telling ppl what i do. i buy my stuff like you at walmart plus the filter at toyota for like 6 bucks. oil for 35. and they charge me 15.86 for my oilchange at my local toyota dealership.

Haha i just saw that other thread a min ago too.. If the toyota dealer does it, im guessing it doesn't show up on the Lexus owners site does it?

Which toyota dealer do you go to? I called the one local to me (Stevens Creek) and they said they charge $25.
