Let's be fair here, the man has seen war first hand. He's had friends die on the battlefield. He's been forced to killed in his day.
Given all that, I don't know how appropriate it is to summarize this as a case of being "emo." Post-traumatic stress disorder/falling into long bouts of depression after traumatic experiences....these are well documented phenomena.
Go through what he did (go to war, kill another human being), come back, and then see if you still want to downplay this situation as a case of him being "emo."

haha im not saying its advisable to go out and further test the cars ability to withstand a crash at that speed. i'm just saying that i've got the peace of mind that in the event something happens while we're going at highway speeds (<80mph), i'll still get out of it safely or at least in one piece.

"Everyone thinks I'm a hero because I was awarded a VC, but I'm just a normal soldier who can't get away from his demons.

WOW
I am still in disbelief and in great comfort at the same time.
I am sure some here have had some sort of accident before, nothing close to that speed am sure. But do you remember causing/being in a low speed accident? Even at 35MPH its a HUGE bang and turbulent ride, now sit back and just IMAGINE what it must feel like hitting something stopped HEAD on @ 100mph.. HOW Shnit!
As for the soldier I wish him well in his IS-F and hopefully doesnt go safety testing his frame structure any time soon.

You guys really shouldn't bee saying stuff like this. You have no idea what army veterans have been through. They risk their life serving our country and unfortunately most of them come back very scarred. Trust me, I see many army veterans on a lot of medications for this type of stuff.
