Just get it changed at Walmart. Saves all the trouble.

before anybody disparages Walmart, let me tell you that I have been using their oil change services for over 7 years now on my Lexus(es), and other cars. No problems whatsoever. Actually they even cover my car seat and floor mat before even stepping in it, wash my windshields and top up the windshield washer fluid too.

Interesting, i guess it depends on location too. My gf's sister took her car to a Walmart in Texas for an oil change once and they stripped the threads doing the oil change. They did some temporary fix or something too, and we didn't find out about it till the car was back in California again.

To me Walmart is like Jiffy Lube/EZ Lube, they will hire anyone with two hands to do oil changes.

Most "regular" oil is also synthesized nowadays or at least a blend.

wow....

I have used at least 5 different walmarts over the years. Excellent service from all of them.

I still remember once they overfilled, and they drained and refilled it, without me even getting into the picture. I was just sitting in the gallery and I saw them fill it up twice. So I inquired and got to know what happened.
