the grills of 06-08 and 09-10 are different in ways that you can't really tell just by looking at them until you take them off..
I tried the 06-08 version of blitz grill, put it up against my 09 grill and seemed like perfect fit, I took off my grill and put the blitz grill inside the grill surround.. there was such a huge difference..i'll post a picture of what I mean later on
I think color matching grill surround only looks good on dark colored cars

^^^ HUGE difference.
im not a fan of chrome grilles in general. its a way of the past. its not the 60s. chrome dipped plastic does not = opulence. same goes for faux wood. both wood and chrome are becoming more and more limited as the years progress. remember how popular those additional stick-on wood trims were? that was not that long ago! to be honest, i dont think you will find chrome on car exteriors 10 years from now. i consider myself ahead of the curve

yeah no doubt, i am by no means a fan of chrome or faux wood at all,
I tried plasti-dipping my chrome grill surround and rear emblems b4, but i failed pretty hard.
haven't got around to doing them again.
I'm just saying that color matching the chrome grill surround only looks good on dark colored cars. If anything i'll black mine out again with plasti-dip when winter is over.

I know this thread is super old, but is there any possible way to get hold of this grill. If not, can you point me in the direction of a blitz style grill for an 09 is350? I see one on ebay, but it says it fits 06-10 IS models, and I am almost positive that they infact only fit the 06-08 models.
