Default Remote Starters

Just wondering what people have for a remote starter on their IS. Also does anyone or has anyone used the Viper Smart Start? Can you all give your input on what ever remote starter you all use, please and thanks!

I use Python 580, its a keyless entry remote start. It's good enough for hot days. Smart start, you must have an iphone or blackberry to use it and there is a monthly fee.

I have a Python 59-something, I think. It has remote start and the SmartStart feature, which connects over the cellular network. And yes, there is a fee.

If you just get the remote starter, the fob has a range of like 1 mile (I may have the optional fob, but I really don't know).

Its a 1 mile range if there are now buildings, or obstacles blocking your path. It will be less than a mile in a real world scenario.

Ya there is a monthly fee for the iphone one. Dad has it pretty cool that he can lock his car from another country but who needs that. Was wondering though if you get remote start for the IS the guy told me that since you dont need a key to drive anyone can just get in and drive away. PLus the IS doesnt have a range away from key shut off so they could drive as far as the tank will let them?
