Why does my 2IS have no antenna on the roof?
Hi everyone,
I bought a used IS250 back in December, and I just noticed that my IS does not have the shark fin antenna on the roof? There is a small antenna box on the trunk lid, passenger side though.
Does anyone know why my car does not have this antenna on the roof?

It was added in 2007, you must have a 2006 model.

Yeah I actually prefer the look of it without the shark fin myself, looks cleaner.
In other countries the shark fin is still not standard. 2011 IS F-Sport without shark fin:

oh wow that f sport still has the Lexus emblem also. don't all '11 come without the rear LEXUS emblem?

Saw a car that had a Shark fin missing (as in the roof sheet metal was pealed up!)..... Turns out the "little lady" took it through a local carwash, and the spinning scrubbers ripped it right off the roof.....
