Default HELP key not detected!!

I aproched the car and I couldnt unlock it or anything, so I unlocked it manually and the car didnt want to start, so I putted the key near the start button and It started. Now the problem is not that it doesnt start, it does it normally. But I cant open the doors with any of the 2 keys and is always showing the key not detected sign on the dash. As I stated itsd happening with both keys, one flashes red when you press the buttons and the other one doesnt.

Has this happened to anyone?

Have you tried replacing the fob battery?

Yeah happened to me awhile ago. Mine was because the key battery was low, but would still work only after continuously pressing the unlock (20+ times).. Although I don't see how both keys would have that problem for you.

Try changing the battery first. It's the cheapest and most likely thing that happens to the smart keys. (CR1632 is the battery).

Also avoid setting the keys down in your house on things like the microwave and TV, as they can prompt the key fob into transmitting, and if it's transmitting all the time, it kills the battery much faster.

It would happen to both keys because the the keys are constantly "scanning" for the car. So even when they are not in use, the battery life would be going down. Thats why when you change the battery in one key fob, you should probably change the battery in the other one too

I thought it would be the car scanning for the fob?
