V-LED interior lights issues

^ I've read of members experiencing the fading needle problem. I think it's just wear and tear and not related to any other mod.
The good news is that you're in NorCal and there's a guru up here who can fix them for you and even change the color of your needle to whatever you wish: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/clu...f-needles.html

yup yup, I pm'd him about a month ago and I'll definately be doing this mod in the future. All modding will have to wait until after my wedding tho (a year). Now that i think of it, i should have got my rims, coils and other mods done first before i proposed! LOL!

It's just not worth the hassle to me.Obviously it's a electrical issue and I think I'll just keep the stock interior lighting except for the door panel lights and just do the puddles, parking lights and VLEDs 5K 28 LED fogs to match the HIDs.

^ You only have to remove one of them, and as I remember it's the rear one. Give it a shot and report back. I know V-LEDs is working on revised festoon bulbs to remedy that problem.

Front dome
2 HID 5K WHITE SMT X5 HIGH POWER LED LIGHT BULBS 194 168 158 2821
Rear Dome
2 V-LEDS 6K WHITE 1W HP LED DOME LIGHT BULB 3022 3021 29MM
Vanity
2 WHITE 5K SMT HIGH POWER LED LIGHT BULBS 194 168 158 2821
Puddles
2-V-LEDS HID 5K WHITE 4 LED 2 WATT HP M-SMT FLANK BULBS 194 168 158
Parking/City lights
2 WHITE 5K SMT HIGH POWER LED LIGHT BULBS 194 168 158 2821
Fog lights
V-LEDS 5K HID WHITE 28 LED 13W DRL/FOG LIGHT BULBS HB4 9006
Still have to do the trunk.
I see a few having a problem are using 31MM LEDS in the rear dome.
Any chance using the 31MM LEDs in the rear dome are causing a problem vs the correct 29MM size?

I don't think so. The problem seems to have been narrowed down the rear dome light with high power LEDs.
